The Times – The British military contribution, codenamed Operation Garron, is to be concentrated in Sri Lanka, although the worst-affected areas are in Indonesia.
HMS Chatham, the Type 22 frigate, has now moved to a spot offshore from Batticaloa, the provincial capital of the eastern province. The Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessel Diligence will join the frigate.
